Getting Rid-of Clutter-Habits
This is A Very Simple but Effective Technique..I am sure it will help & you will have Surprising Results..
Decide a Habit that is taking up lots of your time. This can be; watching TV, watching Cricket, Reading News Papers & Periodicals, e-mailing, browsing, camping with friends on daily basis, etc.. Its not necessary, you consider only those for which you think "It is harming you". It should be a Habit, that takes BIG CHUNK OF TIME.
I am taking "Watching Cricket" as an example..
Seat alone in Silence for 20-30 minutes..
Observe thought-silence..Go thoughtless..
If necessary you can use speechless-music or mantra(AUM is best!) chanting..
Once you are sure, your mind has calmed down..
Then think..
Why should I watch cricket and remember all those figures?
Is there anything more imp that can replace them?
The first answer will be 'I like it!', ignore that, that fools us..
Go deep, more deep, deeper..
If you get some thing else..Don't Argue.. Write-it down..
That's follow it!
Cricket is used as an Example, but I find it a very imp issue this days; I feel people being fooled by organizing various events, that has no significance except making money..Watching them sucks very precious time of our Lives..
For 'whatever' I did this to, I got a Paradigm Change in my Beliefs.. I started hating them all..
Entertainments? There are many other modes, which are Productive too.
